LUANDA, Angola.-The Cuban first Vice-President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, said this Tuesday that the island will always be next to Angola, because they are united by historical ties of close brotherhood, solidarity, cultural and political.
We come to ratify our disposition to continue collaborating in all the programs developed by the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola, Diaz-Canel said on his arrival at the Republic Square in the Doctor Antonio Agostinho Neto Memorial, where he will attend the inauguration of President Joao Lourenço.
Previously, the Cuban first Vice-President deposited a floral offering before the monument of the first president and founding father of the Angolan nation, Antonio Agostinho Neto.
Among other activities, until next Thursday, Diaz-Canel will pay tribute to Cuban international Commander Raul Diaz Arguelles and the heroes of the Battle of Kifangondo
