BRAZILIA, Brazil.- Judge Celso de Mello, of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil, described Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of right-wing presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro, as coupe and inconsequential.

In a letter to the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper, the magistrate condemned recent threats from the legislator against the highest court of the Brazilian judiciary and stated that his words have an authoritarian vision and compromise the democratic order.

For his part, former Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso warned that the statements of the deputy crossed the line and they smell of fascism.

Eduardo Bolsonaro was re-elected as federal deputy of the state of Sao Paulo in the elections of October 7, where his father won the first place for the presidency and will face in second round to Fernando Haddad next Sunday.
