Cuban President reiterates rejection of coup in Bolivia

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel reiterated this Monday the rejection of the oligarchy’s coup against President Evo Morales, in an attack on the constitutional and democratic order in Bolivia.

Blow to the heart of democracy and the peoples of Our America in Bolivia. How and who articulated in front of the only Bolivian government that worked for the humble? Legality was breached and the physical integrity of Evo, other Bolivian leaders and people, the Cuban President wrote on Twitter social network.

Since the coup against Evo Morales and his government, Cuba has denounced the violent and illegal conduct of those who have attacked Bolivia’s peace and democracy, plunging the country into a spiral of violence, instability and emptiness of power with arrests, beatings, acts of racism and other outrages against social and political leaders opposed to the oligarchy.

In his message on Twitter this Monday, Diaz-Canel warned of the need to ensure the physical integrity of Evo Morales, before the spirit of revenge of those who star in the coup.
