PINAR DEL RIO, Cuba.- The First Cuban Vice-President, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez verified in Pinar del Rio the main economic advances and the development of the current tobacco campaign, which is favorable thanks to the decline in temperatures and humidity.

In his tour by the most producing province producing of tobacco in Cuba, Diaz-Canel visited Silverio Pelayo Cuervo Service and Credit Cooperative, in Consolacion del Sur municipality.

This center stands out in the development of tobacco seedlings guaranteeing plants in Pinar del Rio, where the goal this month is to complete 18 704 hectares.

The First Cuban Vice-President also visited Glykys confectionery bakery in Pinar del Rio, inaugurated on occasion of the 59th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
