aereolinea-turcaHavana, Cuba.-Turkish Airlines will begin operations in Cuba on December 20th, when its first flight will arrive in the capital, according to the Cuban Tourism Ministry.

With three weekly flights on the Istanbul-Havana-Caracas route, the flights will use a Boeing 777 aircraft with a capacity for 349 passengers.

‘The prestigious Turkish-flag airline, with its multiple connections, will enable increases in the arrival of visitors from other cities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia as well,’ emphasized the ministry.

According to the Ministry, the preference of Turkish visitors for Cuba is evident and the potential is great for an increase in the number of visitors.
