HAVANA, Cuba. – The first Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, received this Thursday Comrade Ri Su Yong, who is carrying a message from the President of the Korean Labor Party, Kim Jong Un.

During the friendly meeting, the traditional ties of friendship and the excellent relations between the peoples, Parties and Governments were revealed.

The high-level official delegation led by Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and Vice-President of the Korean Labor Party’s Central Committee, will remain in Cuba until the next July 9.

The close communication and exchange of partisan work between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Cuba dates back to 1960, the date of the beginning of bilateral diplomatic relations.
