Ramiro Valdes tours areas in Villa Clara province affected by Irma.

SANTA CLARA, Cuba. – Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez verified in the central province of Villa Clara the damage caused by Hurricane Irma to the industries and their recovery.

In that region Valdes Menendez toured El Purio stone mill in Encrucijada, where he verified the loss of two mats carrying constructive materials.

During his visit to Villa Clara, the Cuban Vice-President Ramiro Valdes Menendez visited the Chlorine Sosa Plant, with roof failures, in which the production of hypochlorite and alumina was restarted.

Valdes Menendez also visited the boiler factory in Sagua la Grande, whose roof is restored. It works in the maintenance of sugar mills for the upcoming sugar harvest.
