HAVANA, Cuba.- Businessmen, suppliers, producers, artisans, collectors and lovers of Cuban cigars are present at the International Seminar scheduled within the Havana Cigar Festival, which takes place at the Convention Palace of Havana.

The event includes interesting lectures around the world of Havana cigars, among them one titled Historical-Cultural Significance of the Cuban Tobacco Industry and the World, by Eduardo Torres Cuevas, director of the National Library of Cuba.

The participants in the Havana Cigar Festival will also be able to enjoy a masterly class on the technique of totally hand-twisting with long filler as it is done only in Cuba.

Another proposal of the event for next Friday will be the celebration of the finals of the Habanosommelier and Habanos World Challenge competitions, where a Cuban duo takes part.

Last Tuesday, attendees visited El Valle Farm that belongs to Isidro Garcia Service and Credit Cooperative, to know Vuelta Abajo area, where the best tobacco in the world is cultivated.

Another important moment of the Havana Cigar Festival was the launch of a new edition of the Havana Club Tributo Collection, another success of that brand world leader in the category of Ultra-Premium rums.
