HAVANA, Cuba.- With the anguish of those who fear for the life of a loved one, the relatives of the two survivors of the fatal plane crash wait for every part of the multidisciplinary team that fights to keep their hearts beating in the Calixto Garcia Hospital.

The director of the hospital, Carlos Alberto Martinez Blanco, reported that Mailen Diaz Almaguer continues to be reported in extreme critical state with high risk of complications from the severity of lesions, with a reserved prognosis.

The other survivor of the air crash, Emiley Sanchez De la O, is reported in extreme critical condition with high risk of complications, with unfavorable prognosis in correspondence with the magnitude of her burns.

Martinez said that the multidisciplinary team continues to carry out the necessary evaluations to adopt measures according to the evolutionary state of the patients.
