HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban Association of Social Communicators condemned in Havana the creation of an Internet task force, recently announced by the United States, to disseminate destabilizing messages against Cuba and to attack the institutionality and legitimacy of the government.

Yolanda Brito, from the National Council of the organization, read a statement in repudiation of that American maneuver, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the island’s sovereignty and self-determination.

The complaint takes place just this day, when the first public meeting of the Working Group was held at the State Department headquarters in Washington.

The note by the Cuban Association of Social Communicators, released at the meeting of its National Council, ratify the absolute confidence in the Government and the Party, and the unity of the people to confront that aggression.
