MOSCOW, Russia. – Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the telephone with his similar Ukrainian, Petro Poroshenko, addressed cooperation to investigate the accident of an AN-148 aircraft and the possibility of continuing the exchange of prisoners in Donbass.

Poroshenko offered his condolences for the aerial catastrophe of last Sunday, and expressed his desire to cooperate in the investigation on the fact, because a Ukrainian company was the designer of the plane.

Presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov said that in the conversation, held on Kiev´s initiative, both statesmen referred to the possibility of continuing the exchange of prisoners, initiated at the end of last December in the conflict region of Donbass.

For the previous occasion, Ukraine promised to deliver more than 300 prisoners from Lugansk and Donetsk, while regions delivered some 70 uniformed to the Ukrainian government.
