New day of national strike in Colombia
BOGOTA, Colombia.- The National Strike Committee in Colombia called to a new day of mobilization throughout the country against the government, in rejection of violence and for peace.

While most of the actions have taken place peacefully, in some cases there were clashes between the demonstrators and the Mobile Riot Squad, accused by Dilan Cruz´s death on November 25.

The cacerolazo, which became a symbol of peaceful protest in Colombia, has succeeded in adding the workers of the Congress of the Republic and in that context, the Committee agreed to strengthen the demonstrations and maintain citizen mobilization.

Among the demands is the request to the Government of not to advance any privatization process and request that the Executive and the Defend Peace citizen movement address the process of compliance and implementation of the Peace Agreement.
