LIMA, Peru.-The Peruvian Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Jose Arista, and the ambassador of Cuba in that country, Sergio Gonzalez, discussed the perspectives of bilateral trade in the agricultural field.

The subject was discussed during the greeting visit of the diplomat to the minister, in which Congressman Cesar Villanueva, member of the Parliamentary league Peru-Cuba, participated.

The conversation discussed the fact that Peru, due to various factors, has export margin of potato, rice and other agricultural products, and they agreed in the mutual interest in exploring possibilities of exports to Cuba.

Ambassador Gonzalez and Peruvian Minister Arista agreed to explore the possibility of a technical mission trip to Cuba to deal withthat and other bilateral exchange options.
