HAVANA, Cuba.- The National Lyric Theatre, directed by Maestro Roberto Chorens, will celebrate its 50th anniversary next Friday 9 at five in the afternoon, in Gonzalo Roig Hall in Havana.

According to the program, tenors Luis Javier Oropesa and Andres Sanchez, and soprano Soylin Ibarra will sing in the concert Thought for Three, with a repertoire by Cuban and Latin American composers.

Helson Hernandez, artistic director of the staging said that the young artists have experience in musical performances including operatic repertoires and zarzuelas.

Thought for Three will allow the public to appreciate famous titles of Cuban and Latin American lyric, in a concert dedicated to the activities developed for the anniversary of the National Lyric Theatre.
