Cuban Chancellery rejects new travel restrictions of Americans to Cuba.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez rejected this Tuesday the new restrictions announced by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, which further limit the travel of U.S. citizens to the island.

The Cuban diplomat strongly rejected America’s announcement of new sanctions against Cuba restricting Americans to travel and harden the blockade.

Rodriguez wrote through Twitter’s social network, they seek to stifle the economy and damage the standard of living of Cubans to wrest political concessions from us. They will fail again.

The new measures, which come into force on Wednesday, June 5, prohibit private and corporate aircraft, cruise ships, sailboats, fishing boats and other aircraft, and similar vessels in general from travelling to Cuba.
