MANZANILLO, Granma. – Artists from Granma province and directed by Fernando Muñoz will perform tonight in the cultural gala on occasion of the birthday 235 of this city bathed by the waters of the Guacanayabo Gulf.

Besides a stamp will be cancelled to commemorate Manzanillo´s foundation, the birthplace of Paquito Rosales, the first communist mayor of Cuba, Blas Roca, first president of the Cuban Parliament, of Carlos Puebla, the Singer of the Revolution.

Tomorrow, several social and economic works will be inaugurated in the city, and the Municipal Assembly of People´s Power will held a solemn session at 7 p.m.

Outstanding people from Manzanillo who contribute to the city´s achievements will be recognized.
