HAVANA, Cuba.-The President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez congratulated the inhabitants of Matanzas city on occasion of the 325th anniversary of the founding of the town of San Carlos and San Severino de Matanzas.

In his Twitter social network account, the Cuban President said: Matanzas, Beautiful and very Cuban city arrives revived in its anniversary. Congratulations to all, women and men of Matanzas. To continue thriving in the effort to transform, revive and advance to grow.

From Twitter and Facebook, Internet users began to share Diaz-Canel´s message, with the joy of celebrating the birthday of the city of Matanzas.

At six in the afternoon, it will take place in Sauto Theater the solemn Assembly of People´s Power for the commemoration, and at half past eight in the night, it will be the cultural gala in the foundational Vigia Square.
