Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

CARACAS, Venezuela.- Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela, called for increasing defensive actions on the Colombian border in response to the violent aggressions who caused three dead of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

I ordered the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino, to reinforce all military measures to find those responsible for the vile and criminal attack, perpetrated last November 4 by paramilitaries, the head of State announced through Twitter.

The actions seek to capture the Colombian armed groups, which perpetrated the recent aggression in the Amazonas state against troops of the Armed Forces, where a dozen people were injured.

Last Sunday, the Venezuelan Minister of Defense denounced the action, executed while the Venezuelan troops carried out an operation to guard their territorial limits.
