Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, as a child, had an enormous desire for justice, especially towards those who suffered the most violent exploitation in any part of the world, said journalist and researcher Katiuska Blanco.

During a meeting in the Supreme People’s Court, on the occasion of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the creation of the Popular Courts System, he added that the struggle for social justice in Fidel was almost an obsession.

He asserted that the Cuban leader gave himself body and soul to defend the most humiliated, and fought for them all his life, and for that idea he went to Moncada, Granma, Sierra and brought the Revolution.

In the commemoration for the 65th anniversary of his plea The History Will Absolve Me, in the Supreme People’s Court, Katiuska Blanco recounted the life and work of Fidel and the validity of his legacy.
