Cuba will continue developing despite sanctions.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuban Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez said this Thursday that despite the escalation of the American blockade, Cuba  will continue its economic development.

In the face of the escalation of the blockade and the threat of doing it totally and completely, the united Cubans will find solutions to the difficulties and continue our economic development, the Chancellor wrote in his Twitter account.

For almost 60 years, Washington has imposed an economic, commercial and financial blockade on Havana, classified as the main obstacle to the development of the island.

One of the most recent actions that shows the strengthening of American hostility was the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, aimed at hindering foreign investment in Cuba. In force since 1996, the regulation encodes the siege imposed by the U.S.A.
