Intellectuals of Cuba and Venezuela pay tribute to Che

CARACAS, Venezuela.- Intellectuals from Cuba and Venezuela paid tribute to revolutionary guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara at the Casa Bicentenario, located in Caracas.

At the meeting, the first secretary of the Cuban embassy in that country, Vladimir Falcon, gave a lecture on the humanist thought of the Heroic Guerrilla Fighter, who is evoked in the 52nd anniversary of his assassination in Bolivia.

Members of the Jose Marti Cultural Society exchanged about Che’s legacy, and told passages from the history of both peoples, including Fidel Castro’s visit to Caracas.

Che marked a milestone in Latin American history, for his exploits as a guerrilla and dedication to the progressive causes of the world, his economic thinking, revolutionary ideals, and his dedication as a physician and minister of the Cuban Revolution.
