Hurricane Michael, which continues to strengthen over the Gulf of Mexico, could be the first body in twelve years to touch ground with category 3 in the Panhandle region of Florida, USA.
According to the information from the Forecast Center of the Weather Institute, tropical storm Michael has continued to gain in organization and intensity, so it became a hurricane category one of the Saffir Simpson scale, and continues to approach the Western part of the island.

According to information from the Cuban National Forecasting Center, Irma continues to be an intense hurricane category five on the Saffir-Simpson scale, heading west-northwest, increasing travel speed to 26 kilometres per hour. It is expected that in the next 48 to 72 hours it will affect the eastern region of Cuba.
