HAVANA, Cuba.-Very strong principles unite the Cuban people and the Saharawi people in the maintenance of their sovereignty and the fight against the imperial hegemonism, Fernando Gonzalez said at this capital.
In a solidarity ceremony at the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP), his president added that these brothers have demanded the end of the Yankee blockade to Cuba, the return of the territory occupied illegally in Guantanamo and cried at the time for the release of the five anti-imperialist Cuban fighters.
For his part, the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, asserted that both peoples will continue defending their sovereignty in the face of double standards, the imposition and aggression of the hegemonic countries.
The distinguished visitor thanked the Cuban people for the formation of thousands of young Saharawi as professionals in different fields.
