BAYAMO, Cuba. – Federico Hernandez, First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party in Granma, told Radio Reloj that winning hosting of the National Act for the 66th anniversary of the assaults to Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Barracks means more commitment to the people.
Hernandez said they work to obtain significant results in agricultural production, and the use of national raw materials to produce sausages and other food for the people.
People of Granma province celebrates the main act for the Day of National Rebellion for the third time. Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro as, was presided over and summed up the last in 2006, as usual.
Fidel inaugurated on July 26, 1982, the Plaza de la Patria (Homeland Square), the scene of this celebration in Bayamo, in the presence of more than 100,000 people.
