GRANMA, Cuba. – Members of the electoral commissions in Granma province receive training to face the general elections, which will include first the election of the delegates of constituencies.

On 4 September the nominating assemblies of candidates to delegates to the 13 municipal assemblies of that province will begin, and specifically the first one will be in Bayamo at San Juan del Cristo Popular Council.

Granma will have fewer constituencies than in the current term of office, as part of the improvement of the local organs of the People´s Power, the Provincial Electoral Commission announced in Bayamo.

Respect for the Electoral law, discipline, unity and organization, will prevail in the general elections in Granma, as a sign of the strength of the People´s Power and the support of the people to the Revolution.
