CARACAS, Venezuela. – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, welcomed the celebration of the International Workers’ Day and said he will continue to work alongside the working class in defending their rights.

“From Venezuela we joined the commemoration of the International Day of the working class, men and women who work day by day for the construction of a productive homeland. I will continue with you defending your rights. We shall win,” Maduro asserted.

Also, socialist leader Aristobulus Isturiz ratified the commitment of the working class with the defense of the legacy of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez, and their support to the President of Venezuela.

During the popular mobilization deployed this Tuesday through the streets of Caracas, Isturiz called this sector of society to participate in the economic recovery of the country to move towards a stage of prosperity.
