Buenos Aires, Argentina.-A documentary week in honor of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on his 91st birth anniversary, has concluded here, with the attendance of one of the five Cubans who were held in U.S. prisons for more than 15 years.

The greatness and legacy of the Commander-in-Chief of the Cubans, but above all his great affection for the Argentine people, were highlighted last night during the ceremony held at the Gonzalez Tuñon Hall of the ‘Floreal Gorini’ Cultural Center for Cooperation, which hosted the exhibition since early this month, organized by the Cuban embassy.

The best tribute we can pay to Fidel today and always is not only to learn from his ideals, it is to be like him, fight for unity, for the love of our peoples and this will be the best tribute to our Commander, Cuban fighter against terrorism, Ramon Labañino, said to those attending the event.

The anti-terrorist fighter described this great man of the 20th and 21st centuries, as a strategist, a visionary.

Fidel is the man who goes to the future, returns and tells us how to improve it, Labañino said after emphasizing that he is present in all spheres of social life in Cuba. The documentary ‘Argentina, Nuevos Aires’, which gathers important moments of the Commander’s visits to this South American nation, was screened during the activity.

Cuban ambassador to Argentina, Orestes Perez, said it is very moving to see in this work, by outstanding documentary filmmaker Roberto Chile, the images of that historical and cold evening at the stairs of the Buenos Aires University’s Law Faculty, where he spoke in front of a crowd of 30,000 people.
