LIMA, Peru. – The Preparatory Investigation Tribunal of the Supreme Court of Peru cancelled this Wednesday the humanitarian pardon to Dictator Alberto Fujimori and issued orders for his location and capture.

The annulment of pardon was requested by the relatives of the victims of the Barrios Altos and La Cantuta cases. Judge Hugo Nunez Julca declared the request appropriated and Fujimori will come back to prison.

The Peruvian dictator, sentenced to 25 years in prison for crimes against humanity, was pardoned last December 24 by former President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, who received political favors in return, a situation that precipitated his subsequent resignation.

Fujimori is charged with the massacres of 25 people in 1991 and 1992, committed by the Colina undercover military group, and the kidnapping of two people.
