
Alleged terrorist detainees in Spain.
MADRID, Spain. – The Prosecutor’s Office of the Spanish High National Court requested this Tuesday prison without bail for the four detainees due their alleged participation in the attacks in Catalonia last week.
The alleged members of the jihadist cell that perpetrated the attacks in the cities of Barcelona and Cambrils, declared in Madrid before Judge Fernando Andreu.
The investigating magistrate of the case shall decide in the next few hours the measures requested by the Prosecutor’s Office of the High National Court, specialized in judging terrorism offences.
According to legal sources quoted by the press, one of the arrested, Mohamed Houli Chemlal, confirmed to the judge the command prepared a more far-reaching attack than the two executed in Barcelona and Cambrils.
