WASHINGTON, United States.- The celebration in Washington of a Cuba-U. S. Business Summit shows the interest the business community and other American sectors maintain in widening links with the island.
Carlos Gutierrez, president of the Congress for the USA-Cuba Business Council, said the meeting brought together legislators, politicians and executives who favor the normalization of bilateral relations.
Gutierrez said that the participants are very disappointed with the policy of the Trump Administration towards Cuba, since it is a return to the 1960´s.
However, the president of the Congress for the USA-Cuba Business Council said that support for bilateral approach is strong, especially on issues such as the lifting of travel restrictions.
