PARIS, France. – In the final days of summer all France mobilizes for rentrée, as they call the return to school and work, a period fraught with complexities for President Emmanuel Macron.

With just over three months in power, the young president returns to his duties in the midst of bad news, because his popularity plummets, the political class attacks its management without any regard, and unions prepare a warm welcome with a day of strikes on September 12.

After spending a short vacation in the southern city of Marseilles, the French head of State resumed his work this week but he did it abroad, with a tour through Eastern Europe, while in France the atmosphere feels more and more heated.

The most recent surveys record a precipitous decline in citizen acceptance of Macron´s Administration who defines himself as a centrist.
