CARACAS, Venezuela.- The President of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela, Tibisay Lucena, began this Monday in Tunisia an international tour in order to expose the strengths and guarantees of the election system of the Bolivarian nation.

In a meeting with social organizations and media from Africa and Europe, Lucena ratified the legitimacy of the presidential, legislative and municipal elections to be held next May 20.

The official noted that the Venezuelan electoral system has a unique system of guarantees in the world, because the vote is 100% automated.

Lucena also answered to concerns about the Democratic Coexistence Agreement signed by representatives of the government and the opposition, as well as her appreciation of the UN refusal to send an evaluation commission to Venezuelan territory.
