CARACAS, Venezuela. – The first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, denounced that US President Donald Trump showed up as the head of the international conspiracy against the South American country, after threatening its democracy.

In the TV show Con el Mazo Dando, Cabello asserted Trump was in front of the world as the head of the Venezuelan opposition and stressed the irreversibility of the constituent process, whose election of members will be held on July 30.

Cabello reiterated that no public power of the state can reject the decisions taken by the Assembly, as the article 349 of the Constitution of the Republic stipulates.

The Venezuelan socialist leader also referred to the opposition’s attempts to overthrow President Nicolas Maduro and slow the progress of the Bolivarian Revolution.
