CARACAS, Venezuela. – The scandal of corruption and impunity involving former Venezuelan General Attorney Luisa Ortega, incorporates this Friday new evidence designating her as an intellectual author of the escalation of violence that recently shook that country.

Tarek William Saab, new General Attorney appointed by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), made Ortega responsible for the unfortunate results of the protests of the last three months, which caused more than 100 dead, 1500 wounded and multi-million dollar economic losses.

During his appearance to the ANC this Thursday, Saab described Ortega as an agent of the most terrible conspiracy this nation has ever experienced.

The former Venezuelan General Attorney together with her husband, deputy German Ferrer, are accused of integrating a network of extortion that removed more than six million dollars from the country, deposited in banks of Bahamas.
