Diaz-Canel highlights vitality of socialist state enterprise

Diaz-Canel led Governing Boards meeting.

HAVANA, Cuba.- During the working meeting with the Governing Boards at the Convention Palace of Havana this Wednesday, the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, highlighted that more agility is now seen in the presentation of measures facilitating the management of the socialist state enterprise.

Diaz-Canel considered that, however, not all possibilities are exploited yet and the productive chains with tourism, foreign investment, the non-state sector remain slow.

The meeting also analyzed compliance with the main management indicators at the end of the third quarter of this year and the implementation of some measures approved to boost economy.

Diaz-Canel emphasized that everything that is approved must be carried out, and to  demonstrate the viability and success of the state-owned enterprise as a fundamental entity of the economy.
