Cuban President recalls José Marti´s fall in combat
HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel recalled this Tuesday the 125th anniversary of José Marti’s fall in combat, and warned of his wake-up call about America’s danger to the island’s independence.

The President posted on Twitter, “The Apostle falls in combat, who in an unfinished letter warns of the empire’s dangerous plan against Cuba and Our America. History confirmed his prediction and affirmed our rebellion.”

Diaz-Canel referred to Martí’s posthumous letter in which he warned of America’s intentions to seize the island and the territories of Latin America.
