VICTORIA, Seychelles.-The Vice-President of the Cuban State Council, Mercedes Lopez Acea, was received by the President of Seychelles, Danny Faure, in a meeting described by the Cuban Chancellery as cordial and friendly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba published in its Twitter account that Lopez Acea also met with people of Seychelles who graduated in Cuba, who expressed their immense gratitude for having studied in the Caribbean nation.

The Cuban Vice-President began this Wednesday a visit to the archipelago of the Indian Ocean, with the aim of reinforcing the historical and fraternal ties of friendship and solidarity that unite Cuba and Seychelles, CubaMinrex reported.

The delegation is made up of Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga, and Ambassador Sidenio Acosta Aday
