MOSCOW, Russia.- A technical malfunction could give a wrong flight speed to the crew of an An-148 plane that which with 71 people on board collapsed on the outskirts of Moscow, the intergovernmental Committee on Aviation reported.

Experts point out that after analyzing the first records of the black boxes, they were able to detect a difference of speed data in the aerial ship of the Saratovskie Avialini Company.

The intergovernmental Committee on Aviation notes that there is a difference in data on the speed of the aircraft, manufactured in 2010 and acquired in 2016 by the aforementioned airline.

It seems that the speed measurement mechanism froze and the heater of that instrument was turned off, but the committee indicates that it will be able to provide more detailed information once the entire contents of the black boxes have been analyzed.
