Written from the Bench. The Diary of Rene, in three volumes, was launched at Nicolas Guillen Hall in La Cabaña Fortress. It includes the testimony of Rene Gonzalez, one of the Five Cuban Heroes, on the rigged judgement that they were victims in the USA.
The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Raul Castro, led the farewell ceremony to the prominent revolutionary intellectual Armando Hart, which took place in the Center of Studies on Jose Marti, where he worked until the end.
