Havana, Cuba.- The 22nd edition of MITM Americas -Meetings and Incentive Travel Market- has had a strong impact today on tour operators and travel agents from all over the world who look favorably on meeting trips.

This is one of the most dynamic segments, according to attendees surveyed, and the president of the organizing committee, the Spanish Charo Trabado.

During its first day of interviews, MITM Americas was consided a great success, to the extent that the organizers announced next year it will be repeated in Havana.

The president of the Cuba Travel Group, Jose Manuel Bisbe, assured that in 2019 Havana will again host MITM Americas, on a similar date, but in the National Hotel of Cuba.

Trabado, for her part, said that 500 applications to participate were received prior to the event, of which the organizing committee made an election to end with 200 attendees from 27 countries.

Representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Honduras, Hungary, India, Italy, Mexico, Panama, the Netherlands, Peru, Slovenia, Spain, the United States, will attend MITM on this occasion.

The list also includes delegates from Poland, Portugal, Dominican Republic, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine, as well as the host country.

During the fair, there are more than 4,000 business appointments, which will generate an estimate of 226,908,973 dollars in the medium and long terms.
