HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, called on the social networks to vote for the new Constitution in the popular referendum convened throughout Cuba for next February 24.

For the future of our heroic people, for the Fatherland, for Socialism, I vote Yes. We vote Yes, and we demonstrate that we are Cuba, SomosContinuidad, Diaz-Canel wrote in his Twitter account.

The constitutional reform project was approved in last July and underwent a popular consultation process from August to November, as a result it was amended about 60 per cent of its content.

Last December 22, the members of the National Assembly of People’s Power unanimously approved the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, which will be submitted to referendum on February 24.
