Cuban First Vice-President travels socioeconomic centers in Sancti Spiritus.

SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba.- The First Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, presided over this Thursday in Sancti Spiritus a thorough analysis on global issues of economy, foreign trade and land and urban planning.

Valdes Mesa urged to get more support from research and university centers to promote economic development projects and programs that benefit each territory.

At the country level there are several projects working, the Cuban First Vice-President added at the headquarters of the Provincial Assembly of People´s Power, where the meeting was held.

Global agencies must become the economic general staff and create wealth, Valdes Mesa emphasized in one of his interventions in the context of the Government visit to the province of Sancti Spiritus, led by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
