Havana, Cuba.-Measures and regulations that make the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the US against Cuba a body of law remain valid today despite the provisions of President Barack Obama.

Since 17 December 2014, the US president has issued repeated calls on Congress to lift the blockade, which is applied against the Caribbean country rigorously by government agencies of the northern nation.
