HANOI, Vietnam.-After greeting in Hanoi Esteban Lazo, President of the National Assembly of the People’s Power of Cuba, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc reaffirmed the Vietnam´s support to Cuba in the fight against the blockade and y advocated to continue strengthening the bilateral relations under Fidel´s legacy.

Xuan Phuc reiterated the condolences on behalf of his people for the physical disappearance of the Cuban historical leader, whose phrase he recalled: For Vietnam we are ready to give up our own blood, as proof of his solidarity and friendship with the Asian country.

Lazo explained that the purpose of this visit is to take advantage of experiences in everything that is useful, and in the process of updating the social and economic model.

He also emphasized that Cuba attaches great importance to these links, as the idea is to bring the economic and commercial issues to the same level as the political ones, which is excellent.
