LA PAZ, Bolivia. – The Ambassador of Cuba in Bolivia, Benigno Perez, said that Che, Tania and the guerrillas in Bolivia are a source of inspiration today for Latin America that fights against the advance of the right and the onslaught of the American Empire.

During a forum on Tamara Bunke Bider held this Thursday in La Paz, the diplomat asserted that the example of those combatants must remain in force in the revolutionaries processes of the area.

The Cuban diplomat also remarked Tania´s presence and work in the guerrillas and described her as a sign of the value of women as an embryo of a revolution.

Analysts approached issues such as the role of women in the revolutionary struggle, the contribution of rural women in the process of change and women´s conquests in the democratic cultural revolution.
