Cuba and Costa Rica sign cooperation agreement. Photo: Prensa Latina

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica. – Costa Rica and Cuba signed the complementary cooperation agreement between the Ministries of Agriculture, Livestock and Agriculture, to contribute to the development of collaboration in specific areas of the sector.

The agreement was initialled by the Costa Rican Vice-Minister, Ivannia Quesada, and the Ambassador of Cuba, Danilo Sanchez, during the inauguration of the Third Forage Congress, which will be held until Friday at the headquarters of the National Technical University.

“When we talk about fodder and soil, Cuba is definitely a strategic ally for us for all the research it has, and the technical and professional level of its specialists”, Quesada said.

“Of course”, she noted, “Costa Rica also has elements to show and teach, and we do it with great pleasure, because we are countries that share very similar circumstances.”
