Protests against Temer.

Brasilia, Brazilia.- More than twenty-five thousand protestors surround in Brasilia the residence of the Brazilian president Michel Temer, to demand the end of austerity measures and his resignation.

The police used cavalry and tear gas against protestors, both in the capital and other major cities, while the army occupies ministries and institutions to protect these buildings.

Protests take place throughout the country, involving sectors of the opposition and the ruling party, with the request for the President´s resignation, after the spread of a recording where Temer committed to the payment of silence for corruption.

The Brazilian President refuses to give up, and affirms he will not leave office voluntarily, because that would mean he is guilty; so they will have to overthrow him
