Cuba condemns U.S. Embassy’s interfering actions in Havana.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez spoke on Twitter of the new actions promoted by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, who calls on his Embassy in Havana to intervene in Cuba’s internal affairs.

Through the social network, the Cuban President considered it deplorable that Pompeo instigates his diplomats to violate international law and the laws of the United States themselves.

Diaz-Canel reiterated that Cuba will never renounce its sovereignty and independence, despite Washington’s repeated attempts to bend the people of the island and the Cuban Revolution.

Chancellor Denounces Actions of U.S. Embassy in Havana

Cuban Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez reported that Washington Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calls on his embassy in Havana to intervene in the internal affairs of a sovereign country that will not allow it.

The diplomat denounces that de American Mission in Cuba, and particularly its business manager Mara Tekach, focused in recent months on the failed purpose of recruiting mercenaries and promoting division on the island.

Cuban authorities recently accused Washington of promoting a smear campaign over the arrest of counter-revolutionary Jose Daniel Ferrer, as part of the growing hostilities against Cuba.

On Twitter, the Foreign Affairs Minister called as illegal the actions of the U.S. diplomatic representation in Cuba, endorsed by Pompeo, claiming that these activities are done against the Cuban constitutional order.
