colombianosHavana, Cuba.-Cuban and Colombian musicians will share the stage from May 9 to 14, as part of the 6th Festival A bridge to Havana, organizers confirmed today.

The event promotes the cultural exchange between both countries and includes concerts in this capital, and in the provinces of Villa Clara, Matanzas, Cienfuegos, and Artemisa.

According to the director of the group Karamba and coordinator of the event, Jorge Luis Robaina, Colombians Daniel Baute and Manuel Medrano, and Cubans Adrián Berazaín, Ernesto Blanco and Pedrito Calvo, and other artists are among the guests.

The participants will offer the public their new music productions and well known songs of their repertoires.

Baute will present songs that fusion vallenato with pop and jazz; while Medrano, winner of two Latin Grammys, will share his most recent successes, according to a statement from the organizing committee.

Also the Cuban group Karamba will promote their album Desahogos (Relief) and some others.
