Havana, Cuba.- The effectiveness of the Cuban online payment platform EnZona is shared today by its creators on the first day of the fourth Forum of Entrepreneurs and Leaders in Information Technology (Felti 2019).

This new channel, which facilitates the Cuban population to carry out financial operations and digital businesses, was created by the Information Technology for Defense Company (Xetid).

From last July, those interested can access this platform, which supports the network services of the Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A., through the website www.enzona.xetid.cu or through the application for mobile devices with Android system.

It is a useful and easy-to-use tool, for now, among natural persons, Elizabeth García, acting director of Technological Development of the Information Technology and Communications Business Group (GEIC), told Prensa Latina.

She stressed that it is another option for those who prefer the ease of using their mobile phone and avoid having to show up at different institutions when they need to perform operations such as payment for services, bank transfers or virtual purchases.

In Felti 2019, open today until next Friday at the Meliá Habana Hotel, more than 250 scientists, technicians and government representatives and international organizations from Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Mexico and Venezuela participate.
